Medically trained veteran
Medically trained veteran under the following MOS:
- Army Medic
- Navy Corpsmen
- Air Force Medical Technician
Must be within 12 months of an honorable discharge.
Enroll in desired education program & obtain a Wisconsin license.
Medically trained veteran canidate falls under The Wis-MAC (Wisconsin Military Medics and Corpsmen) program, which helps veterans with medical backgrounds leverage their training, skills, and experience to build healthcare careers with financial assistance that GI Bill does not cover.

Veterans with RN License
Veterans who are already licensed are also eligible for the $7,500 relocation incentive, just like medically trained veteran candidates.
Licensed veterans are not required to be within 12 months of military separation to qualify.
Licensed veterans are not eligible for additional educational financial assistance from Heroes for Healthcare for pursuing additional licenses or degrees. Canidate may obtain WI GI Bill after 3 years of residency.
